In my home town there was a tiny shop that sold milkshakes made with chocolate bars and ice cream ‘candy shakes’ if you will. The shop was called Shake. However, since I moved away a year or so on the shops closed and I had no where too get my perfect shakes. So, I decided to make my own. Whilst I was at it I decided too make some milk and white chocolate cookies from Tanya Burr’s recipe, Tanya Burr.
The Ice cream shakes are super easy too make, anyone could do it!. You just need a cup of ice cream, 1/2 a cup of milk, a chocolate bar of your choice (I went for flake) and a blender. Typically serves one.

For the cookies, the recipe came from Tanya Burr’s new book ‘Tanya bakes’ pictured behind. They didn’t come out as glorious as Tanya’s photos of course and I did make the biggest mess, but they do taste amazing!.

Simply place the milk and ice cream into the blender and blend together, I used a hand blender and a jug for this, I broke the flake into three parts and popped that into the blender. You’ll want to blend this for around a minute until everything is combined nicely.
|1 Cup ice cream, 1/2 Cup of milk, 1 flake.|
